User Guide
You need the Microsoft .NET Framework of at least Version 1.1 to run this application. You may download it at Microsoft's website here. Download the .NET Framework Redistributable Package that is appropriate for your computer. When first opened, the only enabled buttons are the "add" and "open" buttons. Use the "add" button to add songs to the playlist and "open" button to add a playlist text file. Once a playlist is added, the "open" button becomes disabled, but songs can still be added using the "add" button. Once songs are in the playlist, the operational buttons become enabled. To save a playlist, click the "save" button and the current playlist will be written to a text file for use in the future. If the "shuffle" button was hit, then the shuffled playlist, not the original order, will be saved to a text file. By clicking on the cat icon ("Lux"), you will call the Microsoft Agent, which will allow you to use voice commands for the simple functions of "back", "play", "skip", "pause", and "stop." Simply press down on the "shift" key on your keyboard and speak clearly into your microphone. If the agent does not respond, try again as Microsoft has not perfected this feature. Any questions regarding the player such as comments, suggestions, etc. should be directed to Kelley Prebil at |
